Prices and Taxes

All room rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Lodging taxes include a 6% Maryland State Lodging Tax and an 8% Garrett County Hotel Rental Tax, for a total of 14% tax on the nightly room rate. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out

Check-in time: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Check-out time: 11:00 AM

Our front desk is staffed daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you plan to check in outside of these hours, please contact the hotel in advance for special check-in instructions.

A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card are required at check-in.

Full payment is due at the time of check-in. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Traveling with Minors

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guests must be at least 21 years of age (with a valid state ID) to check into a room unless otherwise arranged.
The hotel observes quiet time after 11pm.

Accessibility or Special Needs

We strive to accommodate all guests and are happy to assist with any special needs. If you require accessibility-related features or have specific requests, please contact us prior to your arrival so we can do our best to assist.The property includes:

A ramp at the front entrance

A well-lit path to the entrance

Parking suitable for wheelchair users

Complimentary on-site parking is provided for registered guests. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed. 

Dispute Resolution / Issues

Any concerns or disputes should be reported to the front desk or management as soon as possible. We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with Maryland law.
Use of Personal Information

Personal information provided during booking or check-in is used solely for reservation, billing, and communication purposes. We do not sell or share guest information with third parties, except as required by law.
Liability

Baja Motel is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Guests are encouraged to secure valuables. The motel is not liable for accidents or injuries incurred while on the property unless caused by negligence on our part.
Force Majeure

The motel shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, or utility outages.
Third Party Rights

This agreement is solely between Baja Motel and the registered guest. No third party has the right to enforce any terms herein.







Waiver

Failure to enforce any term of this policy shall not be construed as a waiver of that or any other term.
Severance

If any provision of this policy is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
